The central message of Christianity is that Jesus Christ truly came into the world as a divine legate and that His miracles and prophecies prove His divine mission, attested principally by the central fact of His resurrection. All of the major writers concur in this; one finds it as early as St. Clement of Rome at the end of the first century, and there is no major writer and hardly a minor one that does not allude to it in some way.
